Ubuntu for androids -on SD card

It's a good project to put ubuntu on phones but what about others with not rooted phones.I am trying to use phone SD card like a Usb bootable. While booting on computer its shows the
message is-there is not image files.But its working in windows environment(ubuntu live). have any idea if this is soluble?

Phones are different to computers. You can't just boot your phone from another OS on an SD card. You need to have a supported phone, rooted or otherwise bootloader unlocked. There is no way around it.
