Gents,
Long story :-)
I have an old HP NX-9420 laptop (Ubuntu 12.04) with 2 on-board NICs - a wireless (Intel something) that’s works fine, but 54Mbit is just so sloooooow, and a wired (Broadcom PCI Expres) that’s not even recognised by the OS!
I have changed the wired LAN module - I found a spare on E bay - but no luck!
So - now I looking for a Gigabit Ethernet Expresscard that will fit in the HP docking-bay - but I don’t know what to look for!

Anyone who has a positive experience with a Gigabit Expresscard? - and, I do know that you can't give any guaranties :-)
Cheers Steen

Maybe I should rephrase my question - Anyone who has a Gigabit Expresscard that works?
