My brief stint with Opera 9 has got me looking for a wand equivalent - that's the tool in Opera that stores your usernames/passwords and all you do is click it and it automatically fills out the username/password for the page you are on and logs you in.

I can't find any such thing for firefox. I have come across a program called RoboForm which would appear does the same + more but this only works in Windows.

Does anyone know of another program or better still FF extension that will do this?

that doesn't seem to work e.g. I have NEVER been asked to have the password saved for this site. Password manager shows it's not in either of the lists so i don't know why it never asks me.

yeah that happens to me sometimes too, also the bad thing about firefox remembering passwords is that they go away when you delete the cookies. Opera is the only thing that I have seen with this feature being built into the browser.

I was just looking then and came across this
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/469/
I havent tested it with much but it has worked for a couple f sites so far.
edit: I just noticed that it only seems to store passwords also I cant get it to store all passwords anyway.
