Gnome shell sliders

I really don't like the way the slider bars and window expander bars work in Gnome Shell. Are there options to change this?

If you mean scroll bars , Ubuntu uses overlay scroll bars which can be removed in favor of the old style . http://askubuntu.com/questions/134629/going-back-to-standard-scrollbars-on-unity
