In older versions of Ubuntu, with the Gnome Classic desktop, it was possible with the keystroke Super+N to set inverse video on a given window, or with Super+M to set reverse video on the desktop as a whole. How can one do this in Unity? I might go back to Gnome Classic anyway, because the (by default) lack of this isn't the only thing I find annoying about Unity (the other main thing is the behavior of menus; letter keys don't jump to the next menu item that starts with that letter, which makes scrolling through long menus like the Firefox Boomarks menu slow and tedious).
