hello guys & girls,
i've recently gotten myself a yamakasi catleap 27" monitor and under win7 i was able to "overclock" the refresh rate from factory 60hz to 120hz without any problems but i dont quite know how to do that in ubuntu (12.10 quantal) because both nvidia xconf and system settings won't allow me to go higher than 60hz @ 2560x1440 .
so my question is if there's any way to force a higher refresh rate. i've tried messing with the xorg.conf (not sure what i would have to change) and also stumbled over xrandr but while it would allow me to create a new mode it wouldnt let me actually add that mode to select it.
any help appreciated!
