I used wubi to install Ubuntu on my ASUS Windows 7 PC with an Intel CORE i5, and it will finish the install, tell me that I need to restart, and when I restart and Ubuntu tries to boot, this shows up:

Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause.
To fix the problem:
1. Insert your Windows installation disc and restart the computer.
2. Choose your language settings and click next.
3. Click "repair your computer"

If you do not have this disc, contact your system administrator or computer manufacturer for assistance.

File: Ubuntu\winboot\wubildr.mbr

Status: 0xc000000e

Info: The selected entry could not be loaded because the application is missing or corrupt.

Also, I'm pretty new here and this is my first try at using Ubuntu. Either try to keep it as dumbed down and simple or go into step by step fixes, please. Also, I cannot do a full install, as I have very important windows based code files on my PC that I assume won't run in Ubuntu.

Thanks!
