Ubuntu 12.10 isn't wanting to install (twice this is happening)

I download 12.10 a few weeks ago, didn't want to installl (not getting past the 2nd step) so I thought I'd try again, downloaded it a 2nd time, still won't install.

need more details. How are you installing it? Bootable USB or CD/DVD?

Did you MD5SUM (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/HowToMD5SUM) the iso to ensure it is not corrupted?

When you boot the CD/DVD/USB choose check disc for defects and see what that reports back.

Describe exactly what step you label the 2nd or post a screenshot.
