The shortcuts to put a window on half of a given screen is not working for me in 12.04.2 (64bit).
Things I've tried: made sure I'm in Ubuntu '3D', tried with and without numlock, disabled my 2nd monitor, tried 12.10 on a live CD, tried Mint13 on a live CD (shortcuts appear to be different).

Ctrl+alt+7/8/9/5/1/2/3 do work, on both 12.10 and 12.04. It's only 4 and 6, the most useful that don't. I'm pretty much ONLY interested in having the ability to do alt+ctrl+4 and 6, while all the others work fine. :(

I found this bugreport accurately describing the issue: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ayatana-design/+bug/954797 but it appears that it was marked as a duplicate of a completely different bug. One where users want the old behavior back, where it cycles through more variations in size other than 50%. That's something completely different.

Has anyone seen this before or know how to fix it?
