I have an IBM Flex x240, with two hard disks in it, on which I am trying to install Ubuntu 12.10, server edition. I put an ISO image of the install mini-CD in the virtual CD/DVD drive of that machine's Integrated Management Module (I am working remotely --- I have no choice about that) and rebooted the machine. I have gotten part way through the installation process. I am at the start of the process of partitioning and formatting the HDDs. My problem is that the list of available disks includes just one --- the install mini-CD! What's going wrong and how can I fix it?
