Full Circleissue 70 PDF

Why cannot I download Issue 70 as a normal PDF as I have always done and prefer?:(

I have downloaded from Isuu and also sent to Ubuntu One, both methods came as pdf files.

How are you getting the magazine ?

It opens in Firefox web browser as what I imagine is EPUB. The url is http://dl.fullcirclemagazine.org/issue70_en.pdf.

Sounds like a Firefox issue in the way it is handling the link. I use Chromium, but using Firefox I can see that it opens the page rather than giving you the download option.

Once Firefox has opened the page, you can use the download icon in the top right corner of the page to save as pdf.

PS. You could also open a terminal and use wget, eg


wget http://dl.fullcirclemagazine.org/issue70_en.pdf

Go into Firefox Edit Menu and select Preferences > Applications tab > search for pdf and change behaviour as required.

The default preference is to Preview in Firefox, change to Always ask or Save FIle.

It's a recent change to firefox.

Editing preferences as howefield posted works, I've done the same thing here.

The built-in PDF viewer is a new feature introduced in firefox 19.

Excellent! I now recall there was a recent Firefox upgrade that must have implemented the change.
