Ubuntu for tablets came out, with a new look designed for tablets.
Can the interface be installed on a standard Ubuntu?
I have a AMD powered tablet, and Ubuntu 12.10 doesnt work with a touchscreen, so i am interested to know if the new interface can run on ubuntu 12.10(if yes, how can i install it?) or is it only designed to work on arm devices?

Here is some more reading. There is plenty of information about.

The release also marks the start of a new era for Ubuntu, with true convergence between devices. When complete, the same Ubuntu code will deliver a mobile, tablet, desktop or TV experiences depending on the device it is installed on, or where it is docked. Ubuntu 13.10 (due in October) will include a complete entry-level smartphone experience.

There is your answer - 12.10 = No. It is already released. We upgrade 12.10 by installing 13.04. But that will not be enough. 13.10 = yes.

Regards.

Ok, it will come default with 13.10 when it's supposed to be finished. But i want to install it now, even if it's under development.. Isnt there a ppa, or at least some code that i need to compile myself?
