Hey all,
Wondering if anyone has had issues with installing kernel 3.8 on their setup?
I have Ubuntu 12.10 64bit with Unity, NVidia 310.14 drivers, and I tried several times to install kernel 3.8 but unity crashes, and there is a black bar around the screen. Then I go back to 3.5 kernel, then I install generic nvidia drivers, then try 3.8 again, and I still get he same result.
If anyone has had success, please let me know. My Steam installation had been working really good with the NVidia 310.14 drivers, so I would like to keep it
Thanks
Heeter
