Reinstalling Ubuntu w/ZFS pool

Recently, I have been playing around a lot with my Ubuntu and now I would like to reinstall the OS.

I have a ZFS pool and I was wondering if I needed to take any steps in order to ensure that my pool is kept.

Do I simply recreate the mount point and perform a zpool import? Thanks in advance.

This worked for me, Ubuntu 12.04 server.
