How do you scan media such as USB sticks in 12.04 with ClamTK?

I see an option to scan "home" only.

Thanks.

Under "Scan", select "A Device". Or just use Ctrl+J.

Does this not show up for you?

Thanks,
Dave M

Thank you for responding.

No, it does not show up. In fact, the only window which shows up has 4 options: Home, History, Preferences and Exit. There is no "scan" button nor an option for automatic updates/scans, which is why I posted my question.

When pressing "home" it scans the home folder, but that's it.

Preferences do not include folder/media options, only a preference to check for all updates on ClamTK startup

I am running the latest updates for 12.04

This is strange. I would appreciate it if this issue could be resolved as the homefolder contained bugs - I assume that I copied some of them onto external media.

Many thanks.

You'll need to look up at the global menu.
It's up at the left side of the top panel of your screen.
It is usually hidden until the mouse pointer moves over it.

Or if on 12.04 or later, use the HUD function (alt) and type scan a.Then in the list the shows up 'a device' will appear hit enter and the related screen will show up.
