Hello Ubuntu Forums!

I am trying to stream my computer's sound to my Android Nexus 7, which is hooked up to my sound system, so that I can utilize my sound system from anywhere. I have tried working with icecast2 and darkice (~5 hours of troubleshooting), but have run into a dead end. So my question is, how would I go about streaming the audio?

Clarification on "computer's sound": what I mean by this is all sound output. As in, the output of rhythmbox, websites, system sounds, everything. I guess this would be considered the output of the sound card? Or the output of pulse?

Extra information:
Computer: Apple Macbook 13' running Ubuntu 12.10.
Tablet: Rooted Nexus 7 running Paranoid Android 2.+
Also, running

aplay -lIn a terminal results in

**** List of PLAYBACK Hardware Devices ****
card 0: NVidia [HDA NVidia], device 0: Cirrus Analog [Cirrus Analog]
Subdevices: 0/1
Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
card 0: NVidia [HDA NVidia], device 1: Cirrus Digital [Cirrus Digital]
Subdevices: 1/1

Thanks in advance,
-Doug
