I just recently installed ubuntu 12.10 on my laptop and i was trying to turn off the password protection for my administrator account and i accidentally click "disabled" thinking it will do the job, now i cant access my account and is forced to use the guess account instead. i tried methods i found online using the "terminal" with command "sudo passwrd root" but i keep getting this "sudo: unable to change to sudoer gid: operation not permitted". Is there an easy and fast way to enable my administrator account? please help me.
