Problems with permissions with lampp

Greetings, im trying to use lampp on kubuntu for web develpment, but i have constant issues with it. It appears that read and write permissons are all messed up, and joomla has no read write access to databases or its own files. i dont know how to fix this. I cant even install it since joomla is unable to delete its own installation folder.

Is there any way to make it work just as on windows?

Ok, i guess i smahsed my head against the wall here, are there any lampp alternatives that can be installed into your home directory or something?

Got it all fixed by using last part of this tutorial by linking folder in home directory with htdocs:
