Hello, I'm having some problems ever since I upgraded my laptop (Gateway M320) from Lucid to Precise with the graphics hardware. I used to be able to use the drivers from ppa:glasen/intel-drivers for drivers in Lucid, for which I had compiz enabled with some effects. I decided that since there was limited time left for desktop support in Lucid, I decided to upgrade to Precise. After the upgrade completed, I realized that I was running in Unity 2D mode instead of the normal Unity. I installed a new set of drivers from ppa:glasen/intel-drivers however they do not appear to be doing anything as I still am running the Unity 2D interface. It also appears that it is not running the drivers that I installed. Suggestions on what to do?

If you would like any more information about my configuration, please don't hesitate to ask.
