Hi, I love using Lubuntu but I was wondering if there was anyway to enable the feature that lets you drag a window on the edge of the screen so it fills half of your desktop. So far I've seen this in Windows 7, Ubuntu Unity and Kubuntu. I know Lubuntu is meant to be this "barebones" desktop with as little effects as possible, but I find this feature extremely useful at times so is there some way or am I forced to look for other desktop environments for this?

Thank you. :KS

I found this thread on Crunchbang that talks about using Openbox to create something similar to what you want, you would have to write in the dimensions specific to your resolution and what you want but it's somewhat of a solution.

I wonder if DevilsPie would work for you.

Maybe not quite as elegant... but I find x-tile will perform similar functions. In the repos and may be worth a look :D http://www.giuspen.com/x-tile/
