Yes but after-the-fact notification isn't "security". So it would be better to prevent any of that from happening in the first place. If you don't run any detection right now have a look at Linux Malware Detect (LMD) as it can email notifications too.

yes of course, I've done a script to disallow php files to be uploaded, but just in case, I need to detect any malicious thing in the server
