Hi everyone.
I'm an old ubuntu user, but for some reason I using an old Laptop Dell inspiron, intel dual core.... too old.
Now I bought a new one. Asus a55a-th52 core i5, windows 8. After download the ubuntu imagen, an try to install it as in the old days...surprise!! I not able to start with the live CD... I know I need to modify the bios to allow run the live CD at power up.
but after read the new booting features, I think is better ask for advices and suggestions to get smoothly installation in my new laptop(notebook).
If someone can share with me the happy path I will really appreciate...
NOTE: I still reading about the UEFI and the tools (boot-repair, grub 2.2.0) what I probabli will need....
