I may not be the first to endorse Darko's Ubuntu Membership application, but I agree. I've been happily familiar with Darko on the Forums for going on 2 years now.

Many Forum user's have been assisted by Darko. He is knowledgeable about Ubuntu, how it should work and what to do if it is not. His strength has been in translating something very technical into easily understandable instructions targeted an the individual with the question or problem.

How high do I regard Darko? I have on occasion contacted Darko personally and trusted him with helping user's when time didn't allow me to. I usually like to finish things myself (responsibility & pride), but I trust "him" to do things right, follow it to the end and have no reservations that he was respectful of that user.

A heartily +1 to the "RAID Master!" :)

Not only has he a good understanding of things he deals with, he's also willing to explain them properly if asked, so that users know what is/was happening in the background.

PS:
@steeldriver,

I'm rather new here....
..well,.. bean-counts don't coincide with the statement.. :D

An absolute and unequivocal +1 from me, Darko is always helpful and has a good way of explaining matters, especially on the Server sub-forums where our paths cross frequently.

I have no idea if my opinion is worth anything... but Darko stuck with me with a problem I was having a couple of weeks back and without him I would not have got it resolved. He/she (?) seems to be very active and and a valuable member of this community.

I may be nobody here in the community, only helped with a few minor easy things.
However, I can assure you darkod "se las trae". He is very good at helping people and knows a lot of things for sure. Also, he is not sarcastic or disrespectful like other people when helping you out: he is very polite and tries his best until (in this case me) sort the problem out.

Message for darkod (it is in Spanish, so I hope that does not violate any forums rule): "¡Venga, tío!".

I browse the forum from time to time and jump in whenever I can help. In the last several months Darko is there first with the right answers. What more can you ask? I definitely and enthusiastically support his membership.
