I have radeon hd 6950.
How do I install the correct drivers. I tried before in via software sources > additional drivers and then change to 'Using video driver for the AMD from fglrx.
But when I restart then it does not start up the launcher only my desktop-background. The only way to get out there is right click, change desktop background and then I can acces settings > software sources to change it back to x.org driver..
I tried downloading via the ati site, but it seems to be offline:
