Firefox upgrade

i've got Ubuntu 10.04 LTS. today i downloaded Firefox 18.0.1. it works fine EXCEPT for two things. every once in a while, when i go thru bookmarks they will just disappear once i go thru them.

another thing, i got used to saving all the pages when i quit Firefox. now all it does is asking me if i meant to close tabs.

The saving thing was a change a long while ago.
