I had a problem with gnome power manager, I tried most of the solutions given on net ( sudo apt-get clean & sudo apt-get autoclean & chmod 0777 /tmp ) but nothing worked.
So I re-installed ubuntu 10.10 (with my home directory intact.) But now I am getting the following error - 'panel encountered a problem while loading "OAFIID : GNOME_INDICATOR APPLET APPmenu" Do you want to delete the configuration .............
I am new to ubuntu any help ?
