I remember in older releases of Ubuntu, the N64 emulator Mupen64Plus came with a nice little interface to ease the process of selecting drivers and editing the configs, but I see that in 12.10 we only have the terminal version of the emulator. Does anybody have any suggestions for a good graphical front-end for Mupen64Plus?

The only interface I found that actually seems usable (I've tried a lot of them) is M64py http://m64py.sourceforge.net/ . It's still probably not as good as the old interface, but it works pretty well. There's a deb package on their site.

I too, was really disappointed when the mupen64plus developers stopped working on the gtk frontend.
