Hi there,

So I thought on sharing my way to run Office 2013 on your Linux box by running a VM, and then open your applications using a RemoteApp-like application called WinConn. Here's the result in under two minutes: Click here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C-DrfMReaYg).

Cheers.

Very neat but the thread title is misleading. "Running" generally means you don't use a remote server or a VM. Otherwise it's like saying "wow, I'm running Google Search engine in my browser!"

You can also use rdesktop.

I run MS Office with CrossOver and one or two other things with an ancient WinXP VM on Virtualbox.

@ prodigy: You're right, the title could be considered misleading, sorry about that. I don't know how to edit the title here, but I did edit the title of the Youtube video.
@ HermanAB: Thanks for bringing rdesktop to my attention. I think I'll give that a try too to see how that works.
