It's an excellent book that covers a huge depth of topics. It was very interesting to read Linus' thoughts and views on things. It was probably one of the best books I have read. Highly recommended.

What's the book about? You say it covers many topics; are they all computer-related?

It revolves around Linus and Linux, so, naturally, it is mostly computer-related, but not always. There are some funny details about Linus' life and childhood in Finland - quite hilarious at times. I'd say, it's not a master piece, but can be enjoyable for some.

It's really good! His story about how he got started working with early computers and started developing the Linux Kernel is awesome. Also his views on open source and the linux community is an excellent commentary.
His views on life are very intuitive imho; the title "Just for Fun" is explained in the first few pages and carries on later, and I completely agree with him.
He's awesome!
