One of the largest software distributors/publishers in Russia 1C has signed an agreement to become a distributor of RHEL. This is a huge step for Linux in Russia as this is one of the biggest and most well known software companies. While there are Russian Linux distributions this is the first company of that caliber to embrace Linux.
