I am another noob with questions. I have Ubuntu 12.10 on a Dell Dimension 2400 Intel Celeron @2.4 GHz and 1001.3 Mi B Memory when I try to watch Glenn Beck there is a very noticeable lag between audio and video. I have checked the forums and can find no like problems. Any help would be appreciated.

Do you think it is a network issue or a RAM issue or a old CPU issue or a slow HDD issue or a wrong video drivers loaded issue?
What sort of media is "glenn beck?" flash, mpeg4, h.264, xvid, mpeg2 ... ?
Is the video playback helped by the GPU or only performed by the CPU?
What resolution are you trying to watch?
Do other, more commonly used videos work? Youtube for example?
