problem with wireless after installation of ubuntu

Just installed Ubuntu on my netbook
i partitiion drive with Windows XP

problem is internet only works on wired setting
i can not get my wireless internet to work on here

what can i do

i have an HP mini

HP
4 years old

HP mini 1035 NR

what can i do to get it work
my modem does work as when i go back to XP
i can get wireless there still

Open System settings. Goto Software Sources > Additional Drivers
Activate your wireless device.
