I am trying to install Ubuntu 64-bit alongside Windows 8 32-bit. I have burned multiple discs with Ubuntu 64-bit and 32-bit and I mounted the .iso file to a USB flash drive. I went into bios and changed the boot preference to CD/DVD when I was attempting to boot from the DVDs and removable drive when I was attempting to boot from the flash drive. I was never given an option to boot from any of these DVDs or the flash drive. I am not quite sure where to go from here. Can someone help me out?

Did you burn the cd/dvd the correct way? It's not enough to just copy the cd image or its contents to a disk. See this page (http://www.ubuntu.com/download/help/burn-a-dvd-on-windows).
