I'm a Linux newby who wants to learn a new, for me, Operating System.
Trying to install 12.10 on a Toshiba laptop running the Media Center Edition of WinXP - using Wubi and also the 12.10 iso on a bootable DVD.
Wubi downloads, extracts and begins to install. Then it stops saying that it couldn't find an Operating System.
The bootable also extracts and also stops dead.
Any suggestions or questions?
