Ubuntu on Kindle?

I installed a VMware app on my kindle via android app store.

my question is can Ubuntu be ran on the Kindle?
I' m having troubled coconnecting:
says enter server name,

but where do I check that?
is it my: username@ up address?
ssh username@ip address: open port#

If the Kindle has the resources for it, and you have a VM app, you should be able to run Ubuntu in the VM software. I'm not sure how smoothly it would run, but as long as your Kindle has enough RAM I don't see why it wouldn't work.

What exactly is telling you that it can't connect to something? Is it the Kindle software? The VM app? Ubuntu in the VM?

where can I check that?
