While testing the "upgrade to 12.10 via the default upgrade manager in 12.04" procedure, I received a message stating ... the upgrade couldn't proceed because /tmp in my system is attached with the flag noexec ... in greek...
I wish somebody could help me out of this!
Note that, being a newbie in UBUNTU, I am not the one that installed ubuntu 12.04 on this laptop and, furthermore, I didn't receive the same response on the two other laptops where I myself installed 12.04.1 with GNOME desktop via a CD...
