My SERP5 has had a native display resolution issue since the upgrade to Precise. I have searched here and the rest of the internet, and although there are similar issues none of the recommended solutions fixed my issue.

Right now I have one display resolution available, native, 1920X1200. Prior to the upgrade I had many, more appropriate to my 50+ year-old-eyes. I have reinstalled a variety of NVIDIA drivers, changed xorg.conf, NOMODESET etc all to no avail. Has anyone had a similar issue with better results than I have had? I have also copied the System76 xorg.conf file, overwriting the one I mucked with. However that did not help.

Serval 5 Professional
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260M (1 GB)
Lenovo laptop screen native 1920x1200
Presently using NVIDIA driver (current version updates)
