Brightness set to Never doesn't work

Installed 12.10 desktop on dual-displays.

Set Brightness to never.
Monitors go black at around 10min.

Searched only found issue to do with laptops.
Since this is a desktop was wondering why the Brightness applets doesn't work?

Hmmm 60 views and 12 hrs and no word.

An accurate description of the problem might get a response. You set something to "never," but it wasn't "brightness."
