I'm trying to use Jigdo to upgrade my 12.04 iso to 12.10 iso. But have found two problems:
1) I cannot find any normal iso.jigdo for 12.04, just alternate
2) For 12.10, there isn't even alternate, just the source of server version iso.jigdo...

Files I've found here:
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/quantal/release/source/
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/precise/daily/current/

I was using the wrong tool for my objective. The most appropriate would be zsync. But then again, I can't find any quantal desktop amd64 iso.zsync file...

:-(

Found right now on a brazilian server! :) :) :)

here: http://ubuntu.c3sl.ufpr.br/releases/12.10/

The strange fact is that cdimage doesn't have half iso's that link have... :P

Should I report in bugs.launchpad?

Found the answer yestaerday:

"This directory contains only less-used images which are not mirrored widely. For the most frequently downloaded images, see releases.ubuntu.com. Please use a mirror if possible."
source: http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/12.10/release/

Solved.
