can i install and use ubuntu offline?? as i have no internet connection at my home :(:(

Yes. If you can't download Ubuntu, then you purchase an Ubuntu DVD shipped via "snail mail" to your home:

Keep in mind an internet connection is helpful for purposes of 1) installing additional apps from the Software Center, and 2) keeping your system up to date with security patches and bug fixes.

can i get ubuntu 12.10 restricted-extras ?? i just installed ubuntu 12.10, but cann't do any anything wihout it!! :(..:(..:cry:?
