Dear Developers,

I'd like to make a suggestion:

Wouldn't it be a nice addition to the Ubuntu OS Distros any real-effective anti-keylogger application inspired on (that could be an open source alternative to) Windows' OS app Neo Safe Keys:

http://www.aplin.com.au/neos-safekeys-v3/how-neos-safekeys-v3-works

Does anyone know if that open source alternative app already exists? Isn't it being under development yet?

Ps.: I guess Florence (and alters) is not that efficient as NSK.

L³ = Long Live Linux!

Best Regards,

Gus

This sub-forum (Ubuntu Application Development) is for people that are developing programs for Ubuntu, not feature request.

If you want to create a feature request, either create a bug on https://bugs.launchpad.net, or create a suggestion on Brainstorm (http://brainstorm.ubuntu.com/), you are going to have to create an account for both sites, before you can enter any info.

Check Brainstorm carefully, as this idea comes up almost weekly from users that have recently switched from windows.

I've moved this thread back to Security Discussions, where you originally began this thread, so that you can take part in a discussion about Linux security, which is done differently from what you know about Windows security.

I don't think most of the software claiming to prevent keylogging is all that effective. It all seems really trivial to bypass, and even moreso on Linux.

Indeed it has. So far, Ubuntu developers have understandably shown little interest.
