Hi all! I'm new to this forum and to ubuntu too.
I installed ubuntu 12.10 but it's too slow for my old notebook so I wanted to try xubuntu. I created a cd with the iso (I checked the isos, 12.04.1 and 12.10 and the ashes are ok) and I reboot.
When I choose to boot from cd and I have black screen and flashing cursor, and nothing else...
I tried also to create a bootable usb, using first unetbootin and then imagewrtiter too, but the result is the same.
Could you help me? Thank you!
