I have a new Lenovo laptop, and I have been trying to install Ubuntu. I cannot find a way to disable secure boot, and when I used boot repair, I got the following address: http://paste.ubuntu.com/1523691/

What do I need to do to ninja around secure boot?

Are you trying to install Ubuntu (which version?) on its own or doing a dual boot with pre-installed Windows 8?

If the latter, this link may be useful:

SecureBoot can be easily disabled from BIOS. It always comes loaded with these new laptops that are Windows 8 preinstalled.

See this: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UEFI Scroll to the very bottom of the page.

Are you sure that you have SecureBoot enabled? please can you show pictures of your BIOS?
What do you observe when booting the pc? do you see the GRUB menu?
