Acer 5250 running 10.04 won't install 12.04.1.
New disc from osdisc.com won't even load to try it.
I put it on the wife's pc and it loads fine. But not on my acer. Hers has nvidia, mine doesn't.
It goes through the dots and then a blank screen. I use nomodset and I get this message before it goes blank. "SP5100 TCO Timer MM10 address Oxb8feoo already in use......"
I've got a couple of more months but I really would like to get this loaded.
