Hey guys, I am a sys admin with a lot of servers running knockd. For those of you who don't know this is a daemon that lets you execute commands on a server remotely when you send a specified sequence of tcp/udp packets. I have clients that travel a lot and they need their ips to be updated on the servers firewall so on their Linux servers I install the knock daemon. I decided to take this a step further and provide my clients with 'knock keys' on their phones so that they could carry it with them. I tried the knockers available for android but none of them were reliable or even worked properly with standard knockd. That is when I just ported my java knocker to android myself.
