Two mouse cursors after install of 10.04 dual boot with XP

Installed 10.04 on Dell Latitude D800 laptop and it seems to have gone fine except for the mouse pointer. I have a two pointers about an half inch apart horizontally at all times. The pointer on the left is the actual while the one on the right just follows it. When the pointer changes to its circling (working) state its ghost does the same thing. It completely mirrors what the real one is doing. Any ideas?

Your video board was not working with any video driver until 12.04. You need 12.04LTS with 3.2.0-36 kernel (latest standard generic no pae) and use the nvidia-96-43-23 driver (control panel/additional drivers)
