I try multiple configurations with this connection and I keep getting a failed response. We know the VPN username/pass is good because we were able to use a Windows and Mac to connect to it. I'm not sure why I keep getting disconnected from this VPN.

Hello

I had this before and it was fixed by lowering the MTU size ,
mind you that was on 10.04
You can find your current mtu setting by opening a terminal and typing ifconfig and look for mtu (usually 1500)

you can change it temporarily to test it by using (off the top of my head)

sudo ifconfig eth0 mtu 1492
(I'm assuming your using an Ethernet interface)

You could try lower.
After you restart it will reset to default.

Tried lowering the MTU to 1000, I'm still getting the same error. :-/
