When first installed with Ubuntu 9.1 the printer worked, and some time along the way it stopped. Everytine there is a upgrade i hope that it will start but no luck. I have been following the sugestions in "[SOLVED] USB Parallel Printer Cable Setup". Yesterday i delete the printer and CUPS and then updated to 12.10. Reinstalled HP laserjet 2100 using parallel:/dev/usb/lp0 as the URL. When trying to print it claim the printer is not connected. (it prints in XP)
