Boot menu long and sometimes borked entries

I know we discussed this in Quantal but I wanted to follow up, and since it effects both Quantal and Raring I opened a thread here:

I listed one bug report there but I know there's another regarding the "long entries" as read by an older grub2, but I'll be dogged if I can find that bug report.

Anyone have that bug report #? Maybe in your bookmarks?

the long boot delay problem is not recent:

Right now more than 1180 reports in the bug queue :( maybe Colin might ask for help, as Canonical 2013 wish is to not loosing its followers. (who care about a good distro if it cant boot properly ?)

Thanks, the first one was what I was looking for. My organizational skills stink worse and worse the older I get :(

I'm gonna go ahead and leave this thread open (not marked solved) so we can discuss what's going on with these bugs.
