Hey guys,

my problem is that when i connect my laptop to the AC power, the system reboot!

If i keep only battery power, everything goes good.

In Windows Vista (installed on the same laptop) i have disabled, from the device manager, the two cores of the processor and the reboot problem goes away. But, obviously, only for Win.

how can i try to solve this issue?!

Here the solutions that i've tried:

i've changed the ac adapter
i've recompiled the kernel (2.6.33-7) without the speedstep* options
i've run the system in rescue mode
i've run live system
i've switch the governon option from ondemand to performance

(* i've read that this problem may be linked to part of the motherboard that implement this technology)

And here a description of my laptop:
Toshiba satellite A300
Ubuntu 10.04
Kernel 2.6.32-43-generic
Cpu Intel centrino core 2

Have you any ideas?!...
(thanks a lot, and happy new year!!!)
